Want to say goodbye to the landlord and buy your own premises?
Or perhaps you’re a savvy investor looking to take advantage of historically low-interest rates and dip your toes into the commercial market?
Either way, it appears you’re in good company.
The commercial property market is proving to be “very attractive” to both business owners and investors and is “very much back in the buoyant territory”, according to Raine & Horne’s Q2 2021 edition of Commercial Insights.
The report says the market is being shaped by a “perfect storm” of supply and demand forces.
Driving the demand side is the low cost of borrowing coupled with the potential returns on offer.
However, buyers are facing a lack of stock. The supply of commercial assets is tightening as many former commercial sites have been converted to residential properties and there’s been a lock of new industrial developments.
